Highlights of Specific Areas of Practice

Transpersonal Therapy

This approach acknowledges that each person’s spiritual journey is personal and subjective, and there is no one-size-fits-all approach. The therapist cultivates a non-judgmental space where clients can openly discuss their experiences and beliefs.

Therapists may use various techniques such as meditation, visualization, breathwork and other tools. The therapist encourages clients to explore their psychological wounds, limiting beliefs, and patterns of behavior. Clients may be encouraged to develop practices that foster self-care, mindfulness, and a sense of interconnectedness, such as spending time in nature, practicing gratitude with journaling, or engaging in individualized experiential activities.

Somatic Practices for Trauma Healing

Trauma can deeply impact both our physical and emotional well-being, leaving us feeling disconnected, overwhelmed, and stuck. While traditional therapeutic approaches focus primarily on verbal processing, somatic practices offer a valuable alternative by addressing the body’s role in trauma healing. Somatic Therapy practices recognize that trauma is not just stored in our minds but also in our bodily sensations, movements, and patterns. By engaging the body in the healing process, we can access a deeper level of healing and integration. Here are some powerful somatic practices for trauma recovery that will support you with in your healing journey: Grounding techniques, breathwork, mindfulness, and other somatic experiencing tools.
